I am a freelance illustrator currently based in Berlin, having grown up in England and the Rhodope mountains of Bulgaria.

My childhood spent in libraries and bookshops set the blueprint for my later life. Rifling through the pages of graphic novels, comics, design magazines, picture books like a possessed child...obsessively collecting clippings to stick on my wall or file in plastic wallets. Discovering parallel realities that I could re-visit time and time again, escaping into marvellous worlds without boundaries, fed my immeasurable appetite to create my version of the world as I dreamt it. 

Having completed a Masters in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art my focus is to bring to light human sensibility through imagery and design. I make art to create a visual personal representation of my interests and observations. I balance my time between illustrating, curating art workshops for children and adults, working on my own personal silk-screen prints and other handmade design products.
